About the program...

"The Passion" sweeps the nation...

For generations, people have been moved by radio, television and motion picture dramas, but never has there been a phenomenon like “The Passion of The Christ.” The famous “War of The Worlds” radio broadcast panicked a nation in 1938. But today, “The Passion” is acting as a catalyst for peace, reconciliation, and redemption for people across the nation and around the globe.

More than a month after its release, people are still talking about the effect the movie had on their lives—on websites, in coffee shops, in homes, and around the water cooler at work. There truly has never been anything like this before.

The stories are amazing—and there are thousands of them. In their own words, they tell us of lives saved, marriages restored, rescues from addiction... From people of faith who came to a new and deeper understanding of God, to atheists who open their hearts to the existence of a Creator for the first time, each incredible story speaks of lives that have been forever changed—by the power behind "The Passion."

Stories of changed lives from across the country

Our team tracked down stories from people from across the country who have had powerful, miraculous, and heart-warming stories to tell. We spent some time with these people, and heard some incredible testimonies of how God used this film as a catalyst to work on their hearts and minds and draw people to Himself.

Some of the changed lives we're highlighting...

  • An 11-month-old baby girl drowned in her bathtub, going 10 minutes without oxygen, but is alive today without a trace of brain damage on the CAT scan because the parents both visualized the flogging scene from the movie “The Passion” and claimed the verse “by His stripes we are healed.”

  • A man confessed to killing his girlfriend-- although the death had been ruled a suicide by investigators-- after God used the movie as the catalyst to help him make the decision to come forward.

  • An angry, self-proclaimed atheist who hated God and actively sought to undermine the faith of Christians took his daughter to see “The Passion” so he could tell her it was a fairy tale, but was supernaturally drawn to Christ, repented, and accepted the Lord as his personal savior.

  • Two brothers who assaulted a man, breaking his jaw, saw "The Passion" and overcome by Christ’s forgiveness for them, made peace with the man.

Videotaped stories -- in your own words!

In addition to sharing the true stories of people from around the country who have had radical encounters with God, we asked people to send us their own 20-second long videotaped testimonies, and send them in to us by Tuesday, March 30, 2004.

We received many powerful testimonies about life changing things that happened to people as a result of seeing "The Passion." These stories will deeply touch people and encourage others to see the film so that they, too, can experience the power of God in their lives. The videotaped stories chosen run side-by-side with the ending credits and bear witness to the thousands of untold stories around the country.

NOTE: All the videotapes we received have become the property of Jody Eldred Productions, and due to the volume of tapes, cannot be returned. For further information, please refer to our Legal Notice.
